Concord — September 20, 2003 — The state has turned down a petition for a no-wake zone on the eastern side of Spindle Point in Broad Bay. The ruling states that current laws “are sufficient to allow enforcement” of boating violations and notes that shoreline erosion could be “naturally occurring.”
