This has been a good summer, with no big changes to write about.
Signs of spring: black flies. Signs of summer: the lake level has stabilized.
In contrast, last year the dam was closed on May 8th.

This has been an easy winter in N.H. but the big lake and Broad Bay remain ice covered. There are still two more days to enter the Ossipee Ice-Out Contest.
