Want to be a Lake Host on Ossipee Lake this year? Starting this week, you can apply for one of a handful of paid positions in which you will be on the front lines of one of Ossipee Lake's most important environmental initiatives while spending time in the summer sun.

To learn more about the state's stone walls, DES has launched a crowdsourced initiative to map every wall in the state. Through an interactive interface known as the New Hampshire Stone Wall Mapper, interested parties can map the plethora of walls from the state's aerial imagery platform, including information about where a given structure is located and observations about the wall’s condition.

A keg of aquatic species? It sounds like an article from The Onion, but a Minnesota brewery is using lake pests to create ale with an "exotic, invasive flavor."
